The episode in a nutshell.
In this episode, Gorisaki created a safety device to ensure that Ryuji will not overheat... except that it is annoying. Meanwhile, Enter noticed Ryuji's weakness and devices a plan to use that weakness into his advantage. So, what is this plan?
The beginning fight in this episode was really amazing. Enter's actor did a superb job in fighting the suited Go-Busters. Since the episode was about Enter figuring out Ryuji's weakness, we were able to see scenes of Enter analyzing his weakness along with forcing Ryuji to overheat himself. This is where Gorisaki's safety device made its appearance. All I can say is, this safety device is really annoying, kinda like the alarm clock that keeps on beeping every 2 to 3 minutes and you want to sleep for another 10-15 minutes.
This was the main issue in this episode, Ryuji was just calm and mature in handling this situation and Gorisaki felt a bit worried since he feels like Ryuji is not that open with him and gets jealous with Nick and Usada's relationship with their respective partners. Nick's pep talk with Gorisaki was fun to watch, it feels like I am seeing two guys who are just chilling on a building rooftop while talking about what is happening in their lives. It was a sweet moment between the two Buddyroids that gave them human-like emotions. The pep talk gave us a glimpse on Ryuji's training back and how he was back then. All I can say is he didn't change a bit.
Because of Gorisaki's extreme concern on Ryuji, I am starting to see Gorisaki more as a character that acts like a housewife, a mother figure rather than a concerned friend. Seriously, the only thing that is missing in Gorisaki's dialogue would be him saying that Ryuji should eat his vegetables and that he should chew his food properly. What's more is that he made other alternate colors for Ryuji's safety device. Though he acts more as a housewife, we were able to see more of his side as Ryuji's partner and friend. Seriously, he is willing to disobey orders just to save Ryuji from the Fanroid.
Now for the Fanroid, he was one of the toughest Metaroids the Go-Busters ever faced. It didn't help that he looked like Airman and there was an internet meme floating around that you cannot beat Airman in Mega Man 2! Since he is well, a Fanroid, he has a giant fan in the center of his body and the color scheme really fits well with his overall character design. His ability was obviously, blowing things and sucking things with the help of his giant fan. The Go-Busters having trouble in beating him made the episode really memorable.
Meanwhile, his partner Megazord, a Beta-type can fly and the Go-BusterAce or RH-03 can't defeat him. What's more was that the Go-BusterAce can't reach him! The mecha fight in this episode reminded me the time they faced the Gamma-type Megazord for the first time with some elements coming from the Megazord that came from underground. Those elements made the episode really fun to watch. But for what reason Enter decided to create a Fanroid if Blue Buster will not overheat if he is constantly being cooled down?
Turns out that the Fanroid, instead of giving cool heat, it gives warm heat, accelerating the speed of Ryuji overheating. If that's the case, then Ryuji will go on berserk and easily defeat Fanroid, but nope, that's not the thing that Enter wanted, he wants Ryuji to faint so that the other Busters will be sitting ducks while the Beta-type Megazord is easily sucking the Enetron Tank. Enter once again, amazed me with his plans. As for how the Fanroid was defeated, I didn't expect that Gorisaki used his body as robot shield to protect Ryuji from Fanroid's wind so that Ryuji can have a clear aim on the Fanroid before he finishes him off. This is what you call teamwork, what's more is how Ryuji showed his concern for his partner, Gorisaki. It's quite rare to see Ryuji showing concern about his partner, which is one rare moment to see.
As for how the Go-Busters defeated the enemy Megazord, it is all thanks to GT-02 giving Go-BusterAce a boost in its jumping capabilities that finished the Megazord. That is one creative way to finish an opponent. Hopefully, I will see more creative fights in this series. The episode ends with Gorisaki and Ryuji starting to become more open about themselves and it ends up with Gorisaki admitting that he hates how Ryuji modify some stuff he made without any permission!
